Creamy Turmeric Porridge with blueberries

Contains nuts (nut milk can be substituted for your desired milk)
Not technically paleo, however, often used in a paleo diet, depending on the person

 1 cup Quinoa flakes
 1 tsp Turmeric powder
 1 cup Almond milk
 2 tbsp Coconut cream
 2 tbsp Raw honey
 1 tsp Grated ginger
 1 tsp Cinnamon
 1 tsp Nutmeg

Method:
1

Combine quinoa flakes, almond milk, coconut cream & turmeric in a pot, and place over a medium heat (Optional: soak combined ingredients over night in a bowl/jar)

Stir until creamy

Mix in cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger

Simmer on a low to medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

If the mixture appears to become too dry, stir in some extra almond milk, or add extra coconut milk for a creamier texture.

Pour into a bowl

Top with additional sweetener if desired

Add extra toppings to your taste.

I add bee pollen & blueberries, however, you can get crazy & add whatever you like!

Serve hot, enjoy!
