3 Nut free bliss ball recipes for backyard picnics

Peppermint Bliss Balls
  cup sunflower seeds
  cup pepitas
 8 medjool dates
 ½ cup sultanas
 2 tbsp cacao
 2 tbsp coconut oil
 2 peppermint essential oil
Apricot and Coconut Bliss Balls
 8 medjool dates
 1 cup sulfite free dried apricots
 1 cup sulfite free shredded coconut
 2 tbsp coconut oil

For all recipes the method remains the same

Add all ingredients to a food processor (except for ingredients which say, "mixed through" beside them, such the dried cranberries in the third recipe.


Blend until a smooth consistency is formed (add a little extra coconut oil if you need for them to stick)


Mix through the cranberries with your hands if you are using them. This gives the balls some more texture


With the mixture, let the kids sit there, and roll them into balls. This is a great sensory activity for them!


Store in an airtight container and refrigerate. This will last for 4-5 days.
